May. 4th, 2009 06:09 pm Be careful what you wish for

At Frolicon this year we went to a very interesting panel. It was on Rituals. Everyone present was ask to tell something they need help getting rid of and the universe would mystical help with the problem. My issue has been postpardem depression. During and after the class I had a good cry and was feeling better all weekend. We've all heard the saying be careful what you wish for. Well I can say the universe has an interesting since of humor because I'm pregnant. Needless to say this Frolicon will be with me for the rest of this year.

Mar. 5th, 2008 08:02 pm A baby any day now

Finally I can see the light at the end of this very long tunnel. My contractions are getting more regular so Jackie should be here soon. Of course she's stubborn like her parents so she may decided to put this off for a little while longer. We'll let everyone know once the big event arrives.

Well I'm at 16 weeks and we're both doing fine. Hopefully at my appointment in October the baby will be nice enough to let us know what we're getting. Today the nurse had fun chasing the heartbeat because the baby kept playing peak-a-boo. On another note we are heading to Atlanta this week for AWA and hope to see some familiar faces while we're in town.

Jul. 26th, 2007 07:28 pm Take 2

Well I guess practice makes perfect cause I'm pregnant again. Things look good so far. Today makes 8 weeks so I've been waiting to make sure before telling everyone. At the doctors visit today the baby had a good heart beat. The doc is still watching me to make sure every thing's okay but so far so good.

Apr. 9th, 2007 03:40 pm Looks like Twins

I had my first ultra sound today and the tech saw double. There are two embryonic sacs. Its still early, only 8 weeks, and the doctor is concerned that things may change. One was larger in development than the other and the concern is that the smaller of the two may disappear. It's called vanishing twin syndrome and is common within the first trimester. I have another ultra sound scheduled for next week to see how they both are doing.

Mar. 22nd, 2007 07:49 am I'm pregnant

After several years of trying, I guess practice makes perfect. Yesterday we found out I'm six weeks pregnant. Yippee! Of course now I'm nervous, scared, and excited. We'll still be at Con but now I can no longer be the test dummy for our class, pout. Oh well. Can't wait to see everyone.

May. 17th, 2006 06:47 pm No longer in love

Last night was interesting. First let me catch people up. About 2 years ago I had a girlfriend. It lasted for a wonderful 3 months. Then she dumped me. We really haven't talked since. So last night I got IM from her and for some strange reason we decided to go out for dinner and talk. The food was great. We even went for a walk in the park.
The best thing about the whole evening was that I am no longer mad, angry or upset anymore. I wouldn't mind being friends again. She did use to be a very good friend after all. But I also realized that I'm no longer in love with her and that's okay too.

I did it. I have my own account and I've actually typed something in. I really do hate typing but hey I'm willing to give this a try. Besides how else am I going to keep track of all the wonderful people I keep meeting at Cons?
